Lisa is a lifelong game enthusiast who quickly fell in love with mah jongg and the unique blend of strategy, connection, and tradition it offers. She believes the game is about much more than the tiles—it’s an opportunity to set aside time for yourself, build meaningful friendships, keep your mind engaged, and become part of a tradition that has brought people together for generations.

Known for her attention to detail and patient teaching style, Lisa creates a welcoming, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace. She tailors each lesson to her students’ needs, building a strong foundation in National Mah Jongg League rules while introducing practical strategies that help players grow in confidence and skill.

Whether teaching someone who has never picked up a tile or helping a player strengthen their game, Lisa’s goal is for every student to leave feeling confident, encouraged, and excited to continue their mah jongg journey.

Lisa offers individual and small-group lessons (4–8 players) in Mobile and Baldwin Counties, Alabama, as well as online. She looks forward to helping new players discover the enjoyment and lasting friendships that mah jongg brings.
