Biography

Lisa is a Portland, Oregon–based mah jongg enthusiast who discovered the game two years ago and quickly fell in love with its strategy, community, and charm. Inspired by its growing popularity, she now shares her passion by teaching others in a fun and welcoming way.

Lisa lives in Portland with her husband, Blaine, and their spirited dog, Maurice, and she frequently travels to the East Coast to visit her two sons. Whether you’re brand new to mah jongg or just curious, Lisa looks forward to welcoming you to the table.

Student Skill Level: Beginner, Intermediate

In-Person Lesson Size: Up to 4 players
