Biography

Emelia has embraced the art and science of American Mahjong and loves sharing the game with others. As an instructor, she especially enjoys that moment when everything clicks for a student—and the excitement of seeing them achieve their very first Mahjong.

Emelia teaches and plays American Mahjong according to National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) rules, offering both virtual and in-person lessons. Depending on location, she is also available to travel to students.

With a growing passion for the competitive side of the game, Emelia plans to participate in tournaments throughout 2027. As she builds her tournament experience, she looks forward to adding tournament strategies and insights to her teaching repertoire.
