Cheryl Poore is a mah jongg instructor and founder of the Kentucky Mahjong Society. Passionate about bringing people together through the game, Cheryl believes mah jongg offers benefits far beyond entertainment. Known for her welcoming, patient, and supportive teaching style, Cheryl is dedicated to making learning both enjoyable and effective. Through the Kentucky Mahjong Society, Cheryl has built a vibrant organization offering beginner, intermediate, and advanced instruction, along with open play, leagues, tournaments, special events, and private gatherings. She is passionate about creating opportunities for players of all skill levels to learn, connect, and enjoy the camaraderie that makes mah jongg so rewarding.
