Chris, the creator of Mahj in the Midwest, is a newly devoted mahjong enthusiast who loves bringing people together through the game. With a lifelong background in nonprofit work across Wisconsin, Minnesota, and North Dakota, she has spent decades teaching fitness classes, leading health seminars, and speaking publicly on issues close to her heart. Now, she channels that same warmth, clarity, and community-building spirit into teaching mahjong. Chris is excited to help new players learn, connect, and discover the joy of the tiles.
