Biography

Venessa lives in Redland, Alabama, where she offers in-person American mah jongg beginner classes for small, informal community groups. As an experienced teacher, she brings a thoughtful and approachable style to her lessons, helping new players feel comfortable as they learn the game.

Beyond mah jongg, Venessa enjoys a variety of creative pursuits, including baking, art, songwriting, and playing the ukulele. Her creativity and love of teaching come together in her classes, where she creates a relaxed and welcoming environment for learning and connection.
