Biography

Stephanie is an American Mahjong instructor on a mission to welcome more people into the world of Mahjong. Passionate about creating a positive first experience, she teaches beginners in a way that is relaxed, engaging, and fun—leaving students excited to learn more!

After playing her first game with a friend, Stephanie quickly discovered a desire to learn everything she could about Mahjong. However, a frustrating and discouraging experience in a local beginner class revealed an opportunity to make a difference. She knew she wanted to become an instructor who made learning the game feel approachable, enjoyable, and empowering.

Stephanie believes Mahjong is about more than the tiles—it’s about connection, community, and creating a welcoming space for everyone. Through patient, clear, and encouraging instruction, she helps beginners build confidence, discover the joy of the game, and get completely hooked! She treasures the friendships Mahjong has brought into her life and loves sharing all the wonderful possibilities the game has to offer.
