With more than 25 years of experience working with children, a decade as a well-being coach, and studies in fine arts and graphic design, she brings a thoughtful, multidimensional perspective on how people learn. Her work has shaped a deep understanding of human connection, the flow of information, and the importance of a well-structured environment—all of which she carries into her mah jongg teaching.

As Roanne immersed herself in the game, she recognized that while mah jongg itself is beautifully complex, the way it is often taught can create unnecessary confusion.
