Biography

Living on a ranch in a small, rural Wyoming community, she saw a growing need for more opportunities to learn and play American Mahjong. What began as her own journey to build her skills quickly grew into a passion for studying, practicing, and sharing the game with others.

She opened her barndominium to anyone in the community who wanted to learn, and “Mahjong in the Barndo” was born. Each month, more and more community members gather for fun, food, friendship, and learning around a table filled with colorful tiles.

Her welcoming approach has helped Mahjong become a growing part of the local community, with people even stopping her at the grocery store or around town to ask about joining. She loves creating a space where everyone feels welcome, friendships flourish, and players can discover the joy of Mahjong together.

She is proud to play a small part in bringing American Mahjong to her Wyoming community and building connections, one tile at a time.
