Biography

Lara is the creator of Lara’s Mahjong Edit, where she teaches American mah jongg using National Mah Jongg League rules to a community of more than 100,000 players across Instagram and TikTok. She is passionate about helping players of all experience levels build confidence, strengthen their strategy, and enjoy the game through clear, engaging instruction.

Lara offers live online classes, the Confidence Club monthly membership, and self-paced strategy guides designed for players from beginners to advanced. Her practical teaching style helps students develop a deeper understanding of the game while building the confidence to make thoughtful decisions at the table.

Based in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, Lara teaches exclusively online, making her classes accessible to students wherever they live.
