Biography

Emelia has embraced the art and science of American Mahjong and loves sharing the game with others. As an instructor, she especially enjoys the moment when everything clicks for a student—and the excitement of celebrating their very first Mahjong.

Teaching and playing according to National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) rules, Emelia offers both virtual and in-person lessons and, depending on location, may also travel to students.

With a growing passion for the competitive side of Mahjong, Emelia plans to participate in tournaments throughout 2027. As she expands her tournament experience, she looks forward to bringing new strategies, insights, and inspiration back to her students.
