Encouraged by a longtime friend to explore the game, Dana quickly moved from curious to fully immersed—studying National Mah Jongg League rules and refining her strategy to become a confident player. After relocating to a new city, she saw mah jongg as the perfect way to build community. She began inviting others to learn, hoping to form a small, regular group. Word spread quickly, and her initial gatherings grew into multiple neighborhood groups that continue to expand.
