Mah Jongg Marathon World Record Attempt

From June 28–30, 2026, Summerville, SC will host a 48-hour Guinness World Record attempt for the longest continuous mah jongg marathon. Four players will compete under strict verification guidelines, including independent witnesses, certified timekeeping, and full documentation. The event supports a local Charleston-area food bank and the national Alzheimer’s initiative, Mah Jongg for Memories. The public is invited to attend, volunteer, or contribute.
