SIMULTANEOUS PICK & RACK WITH A CALL FOR A DISCARD (Article 91)

Commentary;If a player picks a tile from the wall and racks simultaneously as another player calls for the last discard, the player who picked the tile from the wall must defer to the caller. The tile they picked goes back into the wall just as before, even if the tile was seen.

 Question from a player:  I called for a tile and another player simultaneously racked the tile she picked.  Am I entitled to the called tile? 
 
Answer from the NMJL:  “When there is a simultaneous rack and call, the tile goes to the player who called the tile.”
