How Can We Help?
FAST-TRACK STUDY GUIDE TEMPLATE (ARTICLE 211)
The purpose of a study guide is to organize your thoughts with the study materials in one place to help you absorb the information. This is a great tool because it can reveal knowledge gaps and confirm what you already know about a given concept.
Here are the steps:
- Outline the main concepts.
- Create a quad for each concept to take notes on information new to you.
- Study in batches by doing a concept quad review. Create additional review intervals depending on the amount of content.
- 1st review: 1 day after learning a new concept
- 2nd review: 1st review + 3 days
- 3rd review: 2nd review +7 days
- 4th review: 3rd review +14 days
- 5th review: 4th review +21 days

Update each concept quad, as needed.
When you study, don’t multitask:
- Clear the clutter from your study area
- Turn off notifications on mobile devices
- Log out of all instant messaging programs
- Close all of your Internet browser windows that aren’t related to the concepts
To test your understanding of newly obtained knowledge, look for opportunities to teach others.
