Her passion for inclusion and connection led her to found the Inverness Mahjettes, a growing country club group that gathers regularly for play, learning, and laughter. Sherry’s dedication doesn’t stop there—she’s collaborating with fellow instructors and community members to organize local charity mah jongg events, combining her love of the game with her commitment to giving back.

The Inverness Mahjettes are a spirited group of 16 women who gather twice a week to play, laugh, and celebrate the joy of mah jongg. More than just a game group, they’re a community—sharing friendship, strategy, and purpose. Together, the Mahjettes proudly host charity events that give back to the local area, turning their love of mah jongg into meaningful impact both on and off the table.
