Biography

Marie is passionate about creating welcoming spaces where women can step away from the busyness of daily life and enjoy meaningful connection. Known for her patient and thoughtful teaching style, she takes care to explain each step clearly so players feel confident, included, and supported at the table. Marie believes that understanding the rules is what unlocks the true enjoyment of the game—often reminding her students that “rules make it fun.”

Her love of teaching is rooted in an appreciation for how challenging it can be for busy moms to carve out time for themselves. Through mah jongg, Marie brings women together to socialize, laugh, sharpen their minds, and form lasting friendships. Her classes offer more than instruction—they create a sense of community, balance, and joy that extends well beyond the tiles.
