Biography

Carol is an experienced mah jongg teacher with a passion for helping players joyfully discover the richness of this timeless tile game. With a background in teaching and corporate learning and development, she brings both expertise and creativity to every lesson, ensuring they are fun, memorable, and welcoming.

Her Intro to American Mah Jongg program spans four sessions, beginning with the basics and progressing to game play, strategy, and defensive skills—always with an emphasis on fun, connection, and learning. Carol’s goal is to help every student feel confident, engaged, and excited to play.

Student Skill Level: Beginner, Intermediate

In-Person Lesson Size: Up to 4 for a private group…up to 16 for community groups (with an assistant at each table)

Microcredentials:
