Betsy Hayden
Biography
Betsy discovered her love for mah jongg the very first time she picked up the tiles—and she hasn’t put them down since. What began as a single lesson quickly turned into a daily ritual of play with friends she met through the game. That genuine passion now fuels her desire to teach and mentor others.
Betsy’s approach centers on enjoyment, connection, and confidence at the table. She believes mah jongg is at its best when players feel relaxed, supported, and engaged with one another. Betsy teaches small-group lessons on weekdays and weeknights throughout Northwest Arkansas, creating welcoming spaces where players can learn, play, and truly enjoy the game together.
