This Resource Hub brings together the references, instructional tools, Lesson Kit materials, videos, Learning Lab Instructor Edition resources, and ongoing course access you’ll use throughout the training and after you return home.

You don’t need to memorize everything we cover during our three days together. Use this hub to refresh your WPMJ knowledge, prepare to teach, reproduce instructional materials, strengthen your teaching skills, and develop learning experiences for your own players.

The goal is to understand not merely what each resource is, but why, when, and how to use it.

OBSERVE: Teaching in Action

Watch instruction with purpose. Look beyond what is being taught to notice how concepts are explained, demonstrated, sequenced, practiced, reinforced, and adjusted in response to the learner.

Observation Focus

• Accuracy — Is what you’re teaching correct?
• Clarity — Can the learner understand it?
• Sequence — Is the information introduced when the learner is ready?
• Facilitation — Are learners thinking, practicing, and making decisions?

Look more closely at language, demonstrations, pacing, questioning, correction, learner engagement, checking for understanding, coaching, and adaptation.

PRACTICE: Teaching with Feedback

Turn observation into action by stepping into the instructor role. Rehearse focused teaching segments, experiment with explanations and demonstrations, and use feedback to strengthen your accuracy, clarity, sequence, facilitation, and adaptability.

Work with your buddy to prepare and rehearse a short WPMJ teaching segment. Then rotate through the instructor role while the remaining participants form the learner table.

DESIGN → IMPLEMENT → REFLECT

Shape WPMJ content into a purposeful learning experience. Start with the learner and the desired outcome, then determine what needs to be taught, practiced, demonstrated, or discovered and how those pieces should fit together.

Turn instructional resources into purposeful learning experiences for your own players. These tools help you define what learners need, sequence instruction appropriately, put your plan into practice, and evaluate what actually happened so you can refine your teaching.

Reflection turns teaching experience into professional growth. Step back periodically to consider how your instructional practice is developing, where your strengths are emerging, and where greater confidence, skill, or experience would help you become a more effective instructor.

Consider what you are learning about yourself as an instructor, the teaching situations that challenge you, the approaches that come naturally, and the areas you want to strengthen next. Use those insights to guide your continued development.

Step out of the teaching experience and compare the plan with what actually happened. Consider:

• What did learners actually understand?
• Where did they struggle?
• What worked particularly well?
• Was the sequence effective?
• Was the amount of content realistic?
• Did learners have enough practice?
• What did you change while teaching?
• What would you change next time?
