Jennifer’s love of cake decorating began in 1977 when she visited her grandparents’ bakery in Brandon, Florida. They turned her loose on a bucket of cookie dough, and she went to work. She made a huge box of decorated cookies and proudly shared them with her cousins. Jennifer’s mother often made cakes at home for friends and family when she was young, and she was always under her feet, trying to “help.” Jennifer and her mom, Shirley Skyes Braken, have owned and operated several bakeries together since 1982. Their Etsy shop is their joint venture to share their handmade cookie and cake decorations with you!
