Mahjong Competition Rules (MCR) also known as Chinese Official, was created to support international tournaments. It is a lot like Hong Kong Mahjong but there are many more scoring elements adopted from several popular variations (i.e., Riichi, Hong Kong, Chinese Classical, Western).
