Card tables measure between 34″ and 42″ square and a 40″ square table is considered by most players the ideal size. The larger table can more comfortably fit tiles and racks and even provide a few extra inches for drinks and snacks. When using a smaller table, consider using side tables or TV trays on opposite corners of the table for drinks and snacks. Round tables between 36″ to 42″ also work out fine and are commonly found in kitchens of private homes or even clubhouses.
