The BizDev Quarterly Workshop is a live 2-hour Zoom session designed to support instructors who are building, refining, or expanding their mah jongg teaching practice. Whether you’re working through one of the four BizDev mini-courses or applying business concepts on your own, this session offers direct guidance, real-time feedback, and space to troubleshoot challenges as you grow.
Each quarter, we focus on helping instructors gain clarity, confidence, and consistency in the business side of teaching mah jongg—without waiting for a specific course cycle.
Who It’s For
This workshop is open to all instructors who have completed or are currently enrolled in any BizDev Mini-Course, including:
- BizDev Startup Formation
- BizDev Event Planning
- BizDev Marketing
- BizDev Finance
You don’t need to be in a specific course cycle to join—just bring your work, your questions, and your curiosity.

Each 2-hour session blends live coaching, group discussion, and focused support from Michele.

- Kickoff & Insights (20 min)
Updates, new tools, and real-world examples from the Mahj Life instructor community. - Guided Review & Critique (50 min)
Michele reviews submissions, highlights strong examples, and addresses common challenges across the four BizDev tracks. - Open Q&A & Problem Solving (40 min)
Ask questions and get tailored feedback on your current project or next step. - Wrap-Up & Next Steps (10 min)
Reflect, set goals, and identify one action to implement before the next quarter.
