Vicki Campbell
Biography
After just one lesson, what began as casual curiosity quickly became a lifelong passion. Vicki fell in love with mah jongg—and never looked back. She explored every format she could find, from online apps to in-person games, eager to experience the game in all its forms.
For Vicki, mah jongg is more than a pastime; it’s a rich tapestry of strategy, memory, and connection. She is drawn to its mental challenges, inspired by its cultural history, and motivated by the vibrant community it creates. A strong advocate for the cognitive benefits of play, she believes mah jongg isn’t just fun—it’s brain food.
That belief, combined with her deep appreciation for the game’s timeless value, led Vicki to teach. She brings warmth, clarity, and infectious enthusiasm to every lesson. Whether you’re just picking up the tiles, returning after a break, or preparing for competitive play, Vicki teaches with patience, purpose, and a focus on confidence-building.
In addition to beginner lessons, Vicki offers thoughtfully developed workshops to help players sharpen their strategy, prepare for league and tournament play, and grow as confident competitors. She also hosts free monthly “lunch & play” events to connect local players, as well as unique corporate team-building sessions and customized mah jongg celebrations.
Vicki’s mission is simple: to help others discover the same joy, challenge, and community that she found in mah jongg.
