Biography
Tricia is a mah jongg player, instructor, and a wine and travel journalist (Level 4 Sommelier) writing Wine Wanderings on Substack and other magazines for the last 16 years. She is enthusiastic about covering the world of mah jongg in the soft-launching Substack newsletter, Mahj Tile Talk. The newsletter’s focus is: Tile Tales, Instructor Insight, Entertaining and Tablescapes, City Sites, Media Coverage, and Tournament Play. As an instructor in the North Texas area, Tricia has taught groups of players from many walks of life: clubs, neighbors, sorority, and church groups. As a player she has participated in several non-profit tournaments while maintaining weekly play in the McKinney, Texas parks department and at Royal Oaks Country Club. Tricia an experienced public speaker and has been a software executive (Vice President) with firms like SAP, Oracle, and Texas Instruments.
