Tony learned National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) American Mah Jongg in 2009 and quickly developed a passion for both the strategy and camaraderie of the game. By 2014, he was sharing that passion with others through teaching, and as of 2025, he has introduced more than 70 new players to the game.

A dedicated player and traveler, Tony has participated in five Las Vegas tournaments and four mah jongg tournament cruises—including two to Alaska, one to Cabo San Lucas, and another to Mexico. His enthusiasm for learning, teaching, and connecting with fellow players has made him a valued member of the mah jongg community.
