Biography

Previously employed as a Graphic Designer at the local community college, Susan is now enjoying retirement. In the early 1990s, she attended that school to learn her computer-graphics skills — having previously graduated from Rutgers University–Camden with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art & Theatre Arts. Using her theatre-arts training first, she had a successful career as a property artisan, specializing in three-dimensional art. She worked for many diverse theatre companies around the country and even was a prop-building instructor at the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College in Florida.

Along with teaching mah jongg, Susan currently works on many freelance projects including brochures and advertising booklets, has designed books and book jackets, and is the designer/publisher of the 106th Infantry Division Association’s printed and digital newsletter.
