Stephanie Parascandolo
Biography
Stephanie is not just a mah jongg instructor—she’s a passionate champion of the game who brings creativity, warmth, and a spark of fun to every lesson. A retired law enforcement professional and former makeup artist, she blends discipline with flair, making her teaching style both engaging and memorable. With more than 20 years of play under her belt and six grandchildren cheering her on, Stephanie fills every table with encouragement, energy, and heart.
For Stephanie, mah jongg is a perfect mix of strategy, connection, and pure joy. She helps students feel at ease from the moment they sit down, breaking down the rules into simple, confidence-building steps. Whether guiding brand-new beginners or helping experienced players sharpen their instincts, she teaches with patience, clarity, and a contagious love for the game. Her lessons are personal, uplifting, and designed to help players celebrate every “mah jongg!” moment along the way.
As co-founder of The Mahjongg Squad in New Jersey, Stephanie works side-by-side with her business partner, Dianne Howarth, to create unforgettable experiences—from cozy game nights to lively tournaments and special events.
