Biography
Sonia began her mah jongg journey after retiring as CEO of a hospital, seeking a new skill to challenge her mind, meet new people, and fill her time with purpose. The game quickly exceeded her expectations, sparking a passion that has grown into an obsession. Today, she plays regularly and teaches others in her South Tampa, Florida, community—sharing the joy, challenge, and connection mah jongg brings.
