Sarah has been clicking tiles and calling “Mahj!” for more than three years—and for the past two, she’s shared her passion as an instructor. What began as a hobby quickly became a joyful obsession, and now Sarah is on a mission to help others discover the fun, strategy, and community of American mah jongg.

Her teaching style is patient, humorous, and approachable, making her classes as engaging as they are educational. Sarah focuses not only on the rules—though she knows them inside and out—but also on building confidence and creating a welcoming space where players connect and thrive.

When she’s not teaching, Sarah can be found hosting game nights, analyzing the card like a puzzle, or introducing the next generation to this timeless game.
