Biography

Lytania keeps her mah jongg lessons fun and approachable, focusing on connection, friendship, and joy around the table. A lifelong educator with more than 25 years of classroom experience teaching K–12 and adults, she now brings those same teaching skills to mah jongg. While newer to instructing the game, Lytania’s patient, scaffolded approach makes learning accessible and enjoyable for all.

Student Skill Level: Beginner, Intermediate

In-Person Lesson Size: Up to 8 players with one instructor; up to 20 with assistants

In-Person Guided Play Size: Up to 24 players with two instructors

Online Lesson Size: 4 to 8 players
