Through her lessons, Lorie aims to help students develop a deep understanding of the game, the tiles, the yearly National Mah Jongg League card, the game setup, and the rules. She believes that mah jongg is more than just a game; it is also an opportunity to socialize, make friends, have fun, and challenge oneself.
Lorie’s lessons are designed to be engaging, fun, and challenging. She creates a supportive and welcoming atmosphere for all her students, allowing them to learn at their own pace and gain confidence in their abilities.
In addition to her work as a mah jongg instructor, Lorie is a former public school teacher and an active member of her community. She brings this wealth of experience to her mah jongg lessons, creating a dynamic and multifaceted learning experience.
