Leslie is a mah jongg teacher based in Waco, Texas, who believes the true heart of the game is connection. For her, mah jongg is about gathering people around the table, building friendships, and creating a welcoming space where every player feels they belong. There’s always room at her table.

Leslie fell in love with mah jongg after her very first lesson, captivated by the strategy, tradition, and community the game inspires. (She also has a soft spot for a beautiful set of tiles!) Her teaching style is friendly, accessible, and rooted in encouragement. Whether someone is brand-new or returning after time away, Leslie brings warmth, clarity, and joy to every session, making the learning experience both inviting and fun.
