Jennie has been playing mah jongg since 2002, when she first learned from her mother’s friends and quickly fell in love with the depth, beauty, and tradition of the game. She honors its rich history while creating a warm, welcoming experience for newcomers, helping them feel right at home around the table.
As an instructor, Jennie teaches not just how to play, but why National Mah Jongg League rules matter. Her step-by-step approach connects the game to familiar concepts, offering clear explanations, best-practice traditions, and memorable rule insights that help students build a strong, lasting foundation. She sprinkles in fun facts and historical notes along the way, keeping lessons engaging and meaningful.
