Biography
I am a CPA and former university Adjunct Professor teaching accounting. I have been playing mah jongg for over 10 years and began teaching online during the pandemic. Subsequently, the developed curriculum and handouts have been used to teach in-person groups. I have taught about 100 people to-date and am proud that most of them are playing regularly now.
I am also a volunteer for the Alzheimer’s Association and coordinate The Longest Day fundraisers, Mah Jongg for Memories. Donations requested at all lessons, guided play, and special events.
Student Skill Level: Advanced
In-Person Group Size: Up to 20 players with three assistants
In-Person Guided Play Size: Up to 20 players with three assistants for three 2-hour sessions
Online Group Size: 8 players
