Biography

Diane discovered mah jongg in the 1990s while living in Virginia, where she first learned the Wright-Patterson style while playing with a group of Admiral’s wives. The experience sparked an immediate love for the game. After moving to Oregon, she was introduced to National Mah Jongg League play and quickly embraced the format, continuing her mah jongg journey with enthusiasm.

Since the early 2000s, Diane has been sharing her knowledge of the game by teaching others to play. She has always offered lessons freely, motivated by a genuine love of mah jongg and a desire to see more people experience the enjoyment it brings. Over the years, Diane has both played and taught mah jongg in Pennsylvania, Colorado, and Florida, bringing her passion for the game to each new community she joins.

Student Skill Level: Beginner

In-Person Lesson and Guided Play Size: 4 to 8 players
