Andrea is a mahjong enthusiast and instructor based in Springfield, Missouri. Her love for the game began in 2022 when her three daughters gifted her a mahjong set—and it was love at first tile. What started as a casual pastime quickly turned into a full-fledged passion, inspiring her to share the game’s challenge, creativity, and camaraderie with others.

Together with fellow instructor Amanda Tippie, Andrea co-founded Blooming Bams Mahjong, where the two bring a welcoming teaching style and a touch of artistry to every class, event, and game night. As an instructor, Andrea is known for her patience, positivity, and ability to make players of all levels feel at ease while learning.

Her lessons focus on building confidence, developing strategy, and cultivating connection—because to Andrea, mahjong is about more than tiles and rules; it’s about community, laughter, and the friendships that bloom around the table.
