Filomena has been sharing her love of mah jongg with the Lexington, SC, community since 2024. Passionate about both the joy and strategy of the game, she welcomes players of all skill levels to learn and connect. Along with her advisory council of mahjong enthusiasts, Filomena co-founded the Carolina Mahjong Social Club with Marni L. to build community and give back through charitable endeavors.

Under her leadership, the league blends the excitement of competitive play with a commitment to supporting local causes. Through teaching, hosting events, and fostering inclusivity, Filomena is dedicated to growing the mah jongg community while creating lasting friendships and meaningful experiences for everyone at the table.
