NMJL 2026 Transition Lab in Memphis

April 25 @ 9:00 AM 4:00 PM EDT

NMJL Transition Lab, A Strategic Framework for Interpretation, Timing, and Choice

Join host instructors Pat Ford (Mahj Squad 901) and Linda McKnight (MS Mahj) for a special in-person event featuring Michele Frizzell.

The NMJL Transition Lab is designed for players who are already in motion with the new NMJL card and want to feel more confident and intentional at the table.

Instead of reviewing individual hands, this session focuses on recognizing the patterns built into the card—what repeats, where density lives, and what the design appears to reward. When you can see the logic behind the structure, decisions become clearer and direction feels less forced.

We’ll also look at how those patterns influence different phases of play—how you begin a hand, refine it mid-game, and manage decisions as the wall shortens. By aligning interpretation with timing, you’ll move beyond trial-and-error and develop a steadier, more strategic approach as each hand unfolds.

You’ll leave with a clearer way to read the card and make decisions with confidence as the season progresses.
