Lesson Case Study Submittal
A case study is a story used as a tool for analysis and discussion. A lesson case study is a story that depicts challenging situations in a learning environment and shows the application of remedies to overcome those challenges. By sharing our experiences using this methodology, we can learn from one another and work together to find even more innovative solutions to real-life problems.
For your case study, think of lessons where you delivered value to students when there were challenging situations that could have impeded a lesson plan such as:
- Cognitive impairment
- Short attention span
- Inability to multitask
- Impatience
- Frustration
- Poor sportsmanship
As you document your case, write in such a way as to guide the reader through the story so they can come to their own conclusion. The goal is to publish a lesson case study that can be inspiring, entertaining, and educational. The length of the case study should be 6-10 paragraphs (500-1500 words; example).
